The only way to treat the incurable Herpes virus

Simplex 1(HSV1) and Simplex 2(HSV2) differ according to the body area that they usually contaminate. The two most well known types the herpes virus are Simplex 1(HSV1) and Simplex 2(HSV2). Herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2) usually targets the lower part of the body starting from the waist and most especially the genital parts. The particular herpes virus causes painful swelling on the affected skin area.

How do I know I got Herpes

The herpes simplex virus causes swellings from on the lips but may also persist on the tongue. Other common signs and symptoms of genital herpes include swollen lymph glands in the groin, headaches, muscle aches, fever and lower back pain. For herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2), the most common signs are red, sensitive skin that develops aching or swelling (often referred to as herpes bumps).

I heard that Herpes is incurable, is that true?

In most healthy people, herpes doesn’t usually cause other health problems. Although there is no particular herpes cure, there are various herpes medications available that can ease the discomfort of the symptoms and shorten the length of the herpes event in one of three ways and most of the time antiviral drugs are used. The same with other STDs, there are antiviral medications that are usually prescribed to treat herpes infection. The earlier the herpes antiviral medicine is started, the better chance of easing the symptoms. Unlike antibiotics for bacteria, antiviral drugs do not cure the infection it just smooth the progress and control the condition.

How Herpes Effects Males and Females

To distinguish herpes from other infection, herpes signs usually show up in and around the genital area, although female symptoms of herpes may cause these swelling to develop inside the vagina and include vaginal discharge and pain or a burning sensation when urinating.

Herpes Prevention

Herpes prevention guidelines includes the person affected by herpes must not be allowed to come into direct skin-to-skin contact with another person, should use a latex condom for sexual intercourse, should use a dental dam for oral sex, should limit your number of sexual partners, should be aware of the chemical used in spermicides in forms of gels and foam contraceptive products, it does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases and to top it all, should practice self discipline and good personal hygiene which will really help to control the spread of this contagious infection. Herpes is already alarming because it is considered as worldwide concern since millions of people all over the world are already suffering from this type of STD.

Imagine how you’d feel if you never again had to:

Run from new relationships like a scared mouse hiding in the corner; Avoid sex with your partner as if you’d suddenly taken vows of celibacy; Endure the side effects of prescription drugs and still have surprise outbreaks… The Truth about anti-viral drugs and herpes: Drugs can help control the herpes virus… sort of.

You see, these traditional medications work by controlling a very specific phase of the virus’ life. Maybe the herpes can’t locate a cell that’ll let them live inside (viruses need to live within cells – they’re like parasites that way) for example.

Problem is, the herpes virus is quick to adapt… meaning that over time, the drugs lose their power. You start having more and more flare-ups as your own personal genital herpes morphs into a drug-resistant super-herpes.

If you have been wondering about how to deal with your balding issues I am sure you have heard the term Hair Plugs. When I first heard about these I wasn’t sure what it meant so I did some research to find out. Actually, the hair plugs procedure is not new at all. The term originated in the 1950′s when a couple of pioneering surgeons started to treat balding by transplanting growing hair from one area of the patient’s scalp to the bald spot. But, the procedure was first utilized twenty years before that.

During the 1930′s Japanese doctors were doing facial hair implants using this same method. They were mostly interested in eyebrow implants for women and mustache and beard renovation for men. They were really quite successful and were getting good results until World War II started which put a stop to their research. Most of their information was lost due to the war effort.

In the 1950′s surgeons in the US started experimenting with the procedure. They were interested in treating baldness caused by male pattern baldness which is the result of a genetic condition named Androgenic Alopecia. Since the balding area of a man’s scalp is so large it was determined that groups of hair would be transplanted. There were two main methods used. The first actually removed a round plug of scalp from the back of the head which had 10 to 15 hair follicles and their hair shafts intact. Men almost never lose their hair at the back of the head so this is a place to use as a donor site.

Then, once it was removed and cleaned, the plug was inserted in an incision that had been made in the balding area. There were usually several hair plugs transplanted in this way. This did give some hair growth in the bald spot but it was spotty and not very attractive. The hairs tended to stick out every which way because the surgeon had very little control over the directional placement of the individual hairs.

Although these were plugs which were being transplanted, the name actually came from the appearance of the new hair growth. It looked like the artificial hair which is plugged into the a cheap doll’s head with tufts sticking out all over. As you can imagine this was not very pleasing.

Now fast forward almost 60 years and we have a completely different set of results from hair plugs. Now individual hairs and their support structures are removed from the donor site and inserted in the thinning area with no cutting and sewing. A specially designed surgical instrument actually does both processes. This allows the hair restoration surgeon to place each individual hair in a way that matches the directional growth of the surrounding hair giving a very natural and pleasing appearance.

This autoimmune disease is one where the autoimmune system in the body fails to an extent. How this happens is that the body becomes unable to identify the difference between the healthy tissues in the body and a virus or bacteria. Therefore, instead of producing antibodies to attack these bacteria, the antibodies produced attack the healthy tissues in the body especially around joints and organs, resulting in various complications.

It is common knowledge that lupus affects more women than men. Many researchers say this is due to the hormone estrogen in the female body. It is thought to be a hereditary disease, but can also be triggered by external factors that cause the autoimmune system to function in this manner. The real cause is yet to be identified. It is also common among young children.

There are several types of lupus and the symptoms may vary from person to person. The symptoms may include shortness of breath, loss of appetite, hair loss, fever, fatigue and most importantly rashes on the skin or sores in the mouth. Although these symptoms can also relate to other diseases, going to a doctor as soon as you notice them would help the doctor diagnose the problem with the help of a few tests and often a few physical examinations. Lupus is known to affect major organs in the body such as the heart and the kidneys and can also with time affect your central nervous system.

There is no cure for lupus or rheumatoid arthritis, however it is important to keep in mind that there are several forms of treatment that would help a patient lead a normal life and resume daily activities. As hard as this may seem at first, with time and effort, you will learn to get back to your normal ways in spite of the diseases. To help you cope with this there are several support groups based on the age group to help the patient deal with stress, and emotional and psychological effect of the illness. Joining a support group has several advantages as the patient suffering from similar problems would have the chance of meeting several other patients and could be motivated to lead a normal lifestyle. One may often get very frustrated and lose his/temper and be very stressed as a result of all that comes with the pain.

You need to keep in mind however that when it comes to lupus rheumatoid arthritis, simply going for regular checkups and taking prescribed medication is not enough. You too would need to make an effort by asking your doctor what sort of diet you need to follow to reduce the severity of your symptoms and also make other necessary changes in lifestyle to accommodate the disease and the fact that it could impede some of your work. Once you learn to accept this, dealing with rheumatoid arthritis will become relatively easy. Always talk to a close friend or member of your family if you have any problems.

A lot of smokers are aware of what they’ve got themselves into with their habit and know what effects smoking may have on their bodies and health. Despite seeing physical changes and immediate differences, it isn’t usually enough to stop the habit.

Seeing the effects in themselves won’t motivate the smoker to quit as much as actually beginning to feel their own biological degradation. It usually has to come to a point where a considerable amount of damage has occurred to the body until the smoker seriously considers giving up. Why wait when you know that physical and health problems could have been avoided in the first place?

Nicotine addiction is the answer to that question but things can get better once you quit.

Giving up smoking

Your appetite improves within a week and you’ll begin feeling more energetic. Skin conditions, taste, and smell return to normal and the ugly nicotine stains disappear from your fingers. Blood circulation also improves helping those with white finger or Reynards disease. Discolouring on toe nails may gradually diminish because your circulation is better. A reversal of of the effects of gum disease may occur if you take care with dental hygene alongside quitting smoking.

In about a year, the risk of respiratory infections and ailments such as chronic bronchitis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, decrease. This is because cilia, a protective layer composed of tiny hair-like structures, recover and lung capacity begins restoring itself. Cilia facilitate the removal of impurities from the lungs and nasal cavities but smoking halts that process by paralyzing and destroying the cilia.

In the years to follow, the risk of cardio-pulmonary diseases significantly decreases. Furthermore, the threat of cancer drops. It is not limited to the lungs but other organs as well since the toxins and carcinogens now present in the lungs enter the bloodstream when oxygen is delivered to the different parts of the body. The chances of stroke considerably fall as well. These are all made possible when the urge to smoke is curbed. And with all of that, you now have something to look forward to when giving up smoking.

Within half an hour alone of giving your body a break, your pulse rate and blood pressure decreases considerably and starts to return to normal levels. That’s because nicotine rapidly releases adrenaline into our bloodstream, instantly augmenting blood pressure. In about two days, all traces of nicotine have left the body. There is a decline in toxic carbon monoxide levels while oxygen levels stabilize.

Quitting smoking is really an extremely arduous task. But do bear in mind how much you are preserving your life and the life of those around you who have been breathing in your secondhand smoke. It all begins with putting that cigarette down and throwing the lighter away. Remember that shortly after your last smoke, the body starts healing itself and it is a great help if we give our systems the time it needs to recover and reverse the damage done.

It is so much easier to start than to quit smoking, but in this day and age you don’t have to go cold turkey because there are a growing amount of stop smoking aids available. Do yourself and those around you a favour check them out now.

I’m a bit of an older man, recently divorced in fact, and I was at my first party (or any kind of social gathering that wasn’t a dank bar, in fact) since my wife left. The party itself wasn’t anything to write home about; loud mix-CD style music, the kind that’s uniformly inoffensive but not very interesting, and cheap beer. On the ride back, however, I was slightly drunk and feeling sociable when I ran into a pretty girl sitting and reading to her. She was younger by a few years, but not so much that it was creepy when I asked if she had gotten her new year’s kiss for 2009.

Well, one thing led to another, and I was feeling on top of the world for the first time in months. She showed me back to her place (always an exciting experience, getting to see a new apartment) and opened a nice bottle of champagne for a much belated toast. Things were going well…very well, in fact, and we were going to retire to her bedroom. But then something happened that killed my good mood. Or rather, something didn’t happen. I went home, frustrated and disappointed. Initially I thought it was because of the alcohol, but I did a little reading that night and I learned that, at my age, it’s not uncommon for men to suffer from impotence, or, as the websites called it, erectile dysfunction.

I was already up late, so I decided to follow through and learn more about erectile dysfunction. I found that, for men my age, erectile dysfunction is a common ailment, and one that can manifest suddenly, seemingly without warning. Of course this had just been a one time thing; it could just as easily have been a symptom of the champagne as erectile dysfunction, but as I read more and more about erectile dysfunction, I thought back to some of the fights I used to have with my ex wife. Lord knows it’s hard to please women on the best of days, and as a career driven man I didn’t always have the time to attend to her needs, but I never thought there could be anything physically wrong with me, much less erectile dysfunction. Still, one of the symptoms of erectile dysfunction was a loss of sexual appetite in some men; it didn’t always manifest as full blown impotence, and some men who suffer from erectile dysfunction can even get an erection; the problem for them just lies in sustaining it. Keeping the mood, as it were. I toiled long into the night, learning everything I could about erectile dysfunction: what causes it, how the symptoms manifest and how often, and most importantly what could be done to fix it.

I’d heard about Viagra, of course. Who hasn’t? But I was skeptical that, if I did indeed have erectile dysfunction, it would do anything to fix it. My father used to take it for his erectile dysfunction, and he said that it didn’t really do anything for him. Something to do with his physiology. Besides, I didn’t like thinking too much about the old man and his erectile dysfunction. But then one site mentioned a treatment for erectile dysfunction called Levitra, and it piqued my interest. Levitra, I read, is similar to Viagra in that it treats erectile dysfunction as its needed – if you are going to have sex and can’t get an erection, you take the Levitra about an hour before – and that it allows for normal erections that come and go with sexual arousal. Even better, it said that Levitra treats erectile dysfunction even in people who have not found success with other erectile dysfunction medications. After doing a little more research I decided, what the hell, and began searching for a way to buy Levitra online.
Well, by this point the sun had come up. It was early now (or late by my standards) but still too early to head to the pharmacy. Besides, in order to buy Indian pharmacy Levitra I would need a prescription, and admittedly, I was eager to solve this problem quickly. I knew that I shouldn’t take erectile dysfunction medications if I was suffering from high blood pressure or a heart condition or other ailments, but I had recently received a clean bill of health, and it would be difficult to get back to my physician. You need to tell them to check for erectile dysfunction and, I admit, I was a little embarrassed too. Luckily, I saw that it was possible to buy canadian Levitra online without a prescription. I started the application process and within the hour was able to buy Levitra online. As it is now, I’m expecting my Levitra within a day or two. I’m still an eligible bachelor, so it may be awhile before I get a chance to test whether or not the Levitra is the solution to my erectile dysfunction, but I still have the woman’s number in my phone. I’m anticipating many more parties for the first time in awhile.

Note: Levitra is a prescription strength treatment for erectile dysfunction. Consult your doctor before taking Levitra.

The name may sound fancy and unique but Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is very much like tendonitis due to it being an inflammatory condition. The signs and symptoms of this syndrome almost copycat that of several forms of tendonitis. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is diagnosed when inflammation is observed or detected around the median or inside nerve that runs through a tight channel or “tunnel” in the wrist on up to the hand.

What Causes Carpal Tunnel

Much like tendonitis, inflammation of the wrist and this “tunnel”, in particular, is caused by tissue damage that may be the result of overdoing a repetitive activity such as typing for instance. The body responds to tissue damage naturally with inflammation as a way to protect itself. Unfortunately, along with inflammation comes pain. In addition to pain, a person with this syndrome may also experience a tingling and numbing sensation due to compression or irritation of the median nerve in the wrist.

Immediate Treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

As with tendonitis, the best immediate treatment for this type of wrist tendonitis is ice and rest. Ice should help reduce the inflammation surrounding the wrist. It is best not to apply ice directly to your skin as this may be harmful. Instead, wrap the ice in a cloth or paper towel before applying it. Rest is also recommended for someone experiencing the signs and symptoms of this wrist tendonitis problem. Rest allows your body time to heal any inflamed or damaged tissue.

Like tendonitis, performing some simple prevention techniques may help keep wrist tendonitis pain and inflammation at bay. Doing a light set of strengthening and stretching exercises involving the wrist may help increase blood flow to any areas susceptible to damage.

Another Form of Prevention for Carpal Tunnel

Another form of prevention should involve the foods you put in your body. Filling up on heart-healthy Omega-3 essential fatty acids is highly recommended since they make for a much stronger cardiovascular system. A much stronger heart and cardiovascular system will allow for the speedy delivery of nutrients and oxygen to any area of tissue in the wrist that is likely to succumb to pain and inflammation ultimately resulting in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Conversely, the foods you DO NOT put in your body are just as important. Like tendonitis that may be caused or exacerbated by eating processed sugars and flours, you should definitely avoid any type of sodas, candy, junk food, and/or boxed dinners. Stay away from them at all cost because whether you suffer with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, tendonitis, arthritis or some other condition, these types of foods spike your insulin levels that will inevitably spike your levels of pain and inflammation all over the body.

One can draw many parallels between Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and tendonitis or any inflammatory condition for that matter. The signs and symptoms are similar as are the methods of treatment. Finally, prevention techniques for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome are very similar to forms of tendonitis prevention.

According to the American Diabetes Association, about 24 million Americans have diabetes. Pre-diabetes is estimated to affect about 57 million people in our country alone while Obesity is victimizing more than 73 million Americans over the course of 11 years. Obviously, diabetes and Obesity are enormous and common problem.

With the case of Type 2 diabetes, this is believe to affect wide range of other health problems such as cardiovascular issues, nerve damage, eye issues and kidney problem. According to the death certificate reports in 2005, the total death due to this disease is 233,619. The total cost of diabetes is amounting to $174 billion, $116 billion for direct medical costs and $ 58 billion for indirect costs (disability, work loss, premature mortality).

Obesity is also taking $344 billion a year. According to Cynthia Ogden, epidemiologist with the National Center for Health Statistics, the obesity trend appears to be slowing down, but the prevalence remains high and continues to be a critical national health concern. Extra weight increases the risk of heart disease, cancer and Type 2 Diabetes.

In addition, people who are diabetic are hungry all the time because they lack enough amount of insulin in their bodies, which prevent the sugar to be in their proper places within the system, due to this imbalance, their muscles and organs are often low on energy and their body always crave for sweet and often starchy foods.

According to Dr. Clyde Yancy of Baylor University and president of the American Heart Association, diabetics should focus on healthy diets and lifestyle and take tried-and-true medicines to prevent or control health risks and further damage in the body. They have also conducted studies, which was presented last Sunday at an American College of Cardiology conference. They have included people with Type 2 Diabetes and found out that people with this disease increase the chance of having heart attack and stroke than people without it.

For the same purpose, the Columbia University led by Dr. Henry Ginsburg recruited more than 5, 500 diabetics who also had another health risks, such as high blood pressure and cholesterol. Participants were given cholesterol-lowering pills and a pill, which lowers the blood fats called triglycerides while boosting the good cholesterol.

After five years, they have seen the lower risks of heart attacks and stroke with the pill that lowers the blood fat.

These studies have clearly showed the undeniable interconnection of Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. If people will abide on the simple guidelines of healthy living and exercise, the person and even the government who spent billions and billions of dollars on medical support and healthcare will benefit tremendously in the decision of each person to do what is good for him and for his body.

The day of my first attack was during the latter days of summer in 1957. I was in my first year working for the old London Trustee Savings Bank, which was situated in Poultry in the City of London. My position as accounts clerk meant I was placed next to the vault below ground and directly under the main bank floor. I shared this space with a senior accounts clerk, who was nearing retirement. We were both working merrily away writing up the old type account cards and ledgers (long before computers came in) from all the deposit and withdrawal slips sent down to us from the Cashiers. This was a regular daily occurrence.

On the particular day in question, we were well up with our entering and it was getting near to closing of the Bank. Then suddenly, like a bolt out of the blue, my head felt like it was exploding and my eyes lost their vision. Then the feeling to my left arm disappeared and I had this great feeling to be sick, although I wasn’t. I had no alternative but to place my head on the massive ledger and shout for help. My senior accounts clerk called up to those in the main bank building and the Manager came down and started to ask me questions about what was happening to me.

IT WAS AT THIS TIME I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE!!

Fortunately, as the minutes progressed the vision in my eyes started to return, but as it did there were great flashes down the outside of each eye, which resembled zigzag lightning. This stayed with me for the whole time the vision was getting back to normal, about half an hour. By this time the Bank was closed and I was now almost able to move from my seat with my arm ceasing to be partially paralysed. I was now sufficiently mobile to be able to catch the underground train from The Bank back to The Oval (Kennington) where I proceeded to walk to my doctor’s surgery.

Upon gaining entry to the doctor’s surgery and relating my recent experiences to him, especially about the bit where I said I thought I was going to die, he had the audacity to start laughing aloud relating the reasons for why I had had all these symptoms and felt as shocking bad as I did. Not what I was expecting to receive from what I would think to be a professional man.

Although when I analysed what he had said, it did not bear any resemblance to a diagnosis, as to what I had suffered almost alone and at the tender age of 16. He tried to put the blame on the cheese sandwiches I had had for lunch, followed by the four fingers of kit-kat chocolate. OK, at the time it might have sounded plausible, as others did say similar to me over the following attacks. But during my 50 plus years of suffering migraines, these two components (cheese & chocolate) would not be my reasons for the migraines interrupting my life at regular intervals.

IN FACT, I AM HAVING A MIGRAINE AS I AM WRITING THIS NOW!! So what is the reason for this? As yet nobody will be able to tell me. No cheese or chocolate has passed my lips, the whole day.

As I mentioned above, I have been getting migraine attacks for almost 52 years and during that time they have taken their similar course, but not always exactly. There have been times when I do not get pins & needles throughout one arm or the other, there are other times when I do not feel sick, not even slightly.

But the THREE main protagonists are always there, firstly the vision in my eyes goes, then the exaggerated flashing zigzags (although sometimes it is to the outside of one of the eyes only) and then the violent headache, this comes as regular as one day following another. The recovery time is always different, with sometimes a more rapid return to normality than some others. The worst being those long hours in a darkened room, under the duvet with the pillow also over your head. Not knowing when you will become NORMAL again, like other non sufferers.

Another cause of my migraines is the sudden flash of the sun off a car or lorry windscreen, this happens when you least expect it or you are not wearing sunglasses. It can also cause the most concerns, as because it affects my vision, so it will affect my view when driving. Fortunately for me, the vision it impairs is my short range vision, so I am still able to drive the car to a safe place to park and then rest up while my vision returns and I can continue my journey, having taken my tablet to relieve the headache bit.

There have been many times when I have suffered multiple attacks in the same day, the most being four. Only the other day I experienced three following very quickly after each other during one morning and this was after having an attack the previous day. In my present position with medication I would not have been too concerned because I have at last found a tablet which nullifies my headache completely and after all these years I can put up with the vision loss etc but I was down to only three tablets and was not able to get my repeat prescription because the manufacturers were not supplying them again until December -PANIC. So my doctor prescribed me some alternatives, of course no where near as good and after taking them for one day, they drove my bowels crazy with four visits to the toilet in that day. Needless to say I spent most of the day and the following night in bed (apart from the visits to the WC).

As we all are aware, we are always at the mercy of the dreaded migraine attack, not really knowing when it will happen and how bad they will be. We are also no given much encouragement from the powers that be, in that they will never know the reasons why we have to suffer. I suppose we are in a similar category to those who suffer badly with the common cold – No Remedy. Although that is no consolation, we must always take the positive view that our migraines are not usually life threatening.

So as we sufferers always do, we survive the current attack and wait for the next one to happen, because as we are certain, the next one will arrive but unlike buses, there is no timetable.

This last round of attacks was the reason I sat down and wrote this article, because although I had been suffering, I was sure there were many thousands of others suffering in a similar way.

Therefore, in closing, I will stress (there’s another good reason for an attack) that the article in this article has been written on only some of my own personal experiences (to put all of them would be boring and drive you all to a migraine). Many of you who read this may have similar experiences to me, but whatever your symptoms perhaps you would all put pen to paper and write your experiences down and then send them to me by email at the address shown below.

In this publication I have put the bad sides of what has happened throughout my 52 year migraine life, but I have also tried to implanted a little humour throughout, as we must not get ourselves into such a tunnelled existence, as migraines can send you, if you let them.

Increase sperm volume is a question that many men ask? The problem here is that some men who, after discovering that ejaculate, leaving virtually no sperm. This can cause concern and upset that there may be some form of disability with your doctor genitals, as it could be the case, there is probably a more common explanation.
Mexican pharmacy prices
There are many things that can affect the sperm count of men, most can be corrected quite easily, others not. Hopefully by the end of this article you will understand the causes of low sperm count, and how you can increase it.

The list of the most common causes were: tight underwear, sitting for long hours, obesity, hot baths, smoking and excessive alcohol abuse, stress and constant ejaculation. Rare causes would include malformed sexual organs and the prostate gland infection.

So now you know a short list of causes, you are probably wondering how on earth you can help yourself. Well, there are many ways, some easier than others, then we begin to examine the list of causes ranging from how you can help yourself.

Restrictive underwear and sitting for long hours can cause unnecessary pressure on your testicles, which in turn reduces your sperm count. The obvious answer is to buy underwear that fits and try to take a break and walk around a bit. Even if you’re in an office, you can get up and go to the bathroom or take a drink, anything that will relieve the pressure of sitting on their testes throughout the day.

Obesity has the same problem. Fat layers can sag in their testes, causing the pressure again. It can also heat the testes. The whole point of having the testes outside the body is such that they can operate in a cooler as our internal body temperature is 98.6 degrees. That is why taking hot baths can also decrease sperm levels, as the temperature increases too so that they work properly.

Tobacco and alcohol are common culprits for infertile men. Pumping of substances harmful to your body can cause hormonal imbalances, and can in turn cause less sperm to be created. Try reducing the two to help increase your sperm count and prevent the total infertility.

Reducing stress levels can be a huge help. High stress levels will cause a reduction in their sex, which in turn will lower your sperm when you ejaculate levels. There are many options for you to help heal the stress, for example, before sex massages are perfect as they help reduce stress levels and at the same time, increase their libido through physical contact.

Constant ejaculation is an obvious one. Constantly ejaculating will cause fewer sperm to get out, simply because their testicles do not have enough time to create. Try taking a break from it for about 2 days, and then your sperm count should be restored enough for you to see a noticeable difference.
Canadian pharmacy generic viagra online
If none of the above reasons are affecting you, then you may have a medical problem. It is important to see a doctor about it; this may be an infection in his prostate. Do not hesitate much you could become permanently infertile.

If you have answered yes to this question then it is possible you are suffering from some form of mental decline, which is remarkably common these days, and not just in elderly people.

Mental decline or brain dysfunction is often one of the first signs of Aging and it can be a frightening thing. I’m sure you have seen elderly people with Dementia who cannot remember what they had for breakfast and can’t remember even their loved ones names! Well I firmly believe that this scenario does not have to happen at all. I believe that you can maintain a strong and healthy mind at any age. Indeed, one of my goals as an Anti Aging specialist is to assist people like you who are worried about the state of their mental health.

The Best Memory & Brain Boosting Therapies

Having said that now let me focus on some therapies that you can immediately implement to help boost your memory and brain power, and that will keep your brain cells healthy and strong allowing you to age with a sharp, clear and focused mind.

Oxygenate Your Brain – Preserve Your Memory & Brain Power

Firstly and most importantly is making sure your brain is receiving enough oxygen. This sounds obvious enough but in reality It is not as simple as it sounds. Your brain cells (neurons) are extremely sensitive to oxygen, and when they don’t get enough of this vital substance they will start to malfunction and start to die. And once your brain cells die you can never replace them.

Many people have a congested and blocked cardiovascular system, with blood that is thick and full of toxins and excess fats and cholesterol. This leads to a poor blood flow and inadequate blood supply to your vital organs, including your brain.

Also, excess calcium in many people’s diets leads to calcium plaques that become deposited in arteries leading to reduced blood flow. The carotid arteries leading to the brain are commonly affected by this condition, leading to inadequate blood flow to the brain.

Another common problem that I have found in numerous people is a low oxygen carrying capacity within the blood itself. Even if you have good clean blood flowing to all parts of your body, if you do not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to your cells, your cells will become hypoxic (a condition of low oxygen).

This leads to a slow death of brain cells – you will not notice an immediate or sudden loss of memory unless you have a sudden dramatic reduction in blood flow (which does happen in a stroke – leading to possibly permanently damaged brain cells). What you will notice however is a slow and gradual decline in your mental function and memory.

The solution to this problem is to firstly completely clean out your arteries to make sure they allow a good flow of blood to your brain and all your other organs. This will ensure that you can get enough memory boosting oxygen to your brain (assuming you have enough red blood cells to carry sufficient oxygen).

A complete whole body detoxification program using EBOO (extra corporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation) is in my opinion the most powerful way you can achieve a completely clean body and also clean arteries.

Following this you must check to see that you have adequate red blood cells in your blood in order to carry sufficient oxygen to your brain. A simple blood test will be able to determine this. If your red blood cell numbers are low you will need to take action to rectify this problem to preserve your brain function. I can advise you further if you need help with this problem.

Hormones Are Crucial For Your Memory and for Your Brain

Hormones are very important for your overall health and in particular for your sexual health, bone health, heart health, and especially for your brain health.

You may not be aware that your brain cells have the largest number of hormone receptors in your body. This means that your brain cells are even more susceptible to deficiencies in your hormone levels. If your brain cells don’t get enough hormones, then they will not function correctly, and their metabolism will slow down. When this happens, your brain function slows down and so does your memory.

Thyroid hormone is particularly important for your brain health, and if you have low levels of thyroid hormones your metabolism will slow down leading to numerous health problems – tiredness, weight gain, loss of hair, brain fog, and memory problems. In fact many people that have been diagnosed as suffering from dementia have low thyroid hormone levels. Once this problem is corrected, the dementia or memory problems often disappear.

In women the hormones estrogen and progesterone are both very important. In our society there tends to be an estrogen dominance or overload and a progesterone deficiency leading to a hormonal imbalance. This in turn leads to numerous significant health problems (increased breast cancer and heart disease risk are the major ones), and also to mental problems including depression, anxiety and memory loss. I will talk further about estrogen dominance in future articles as this is an extremely common and significant problem in both women and men

Testosterone is also another very important hormone that is critical for brain health in both men and women. This is a much maligned hormone and has been given a bad rap for its misuse within body building circles. However, testosterone is so critical to your health that there a large numbers of testosterone receptors not just in the sexual organs of men and women, but also in the heart and in the brain.

Evidence indicates that low levels of testosterone may contribute to memory impairment and increase the vulnerability of the brain to Alzheimer’s and related disorders. Beta-amyloid, a peptide that may accumulate in certain regions of the aging brain, is implicated in the development of Alzheimer’s disease. Researchers have found that testosterone exerts neuroprotective benefits from the effects of toxic beta-amyloid. An article published in Brain Research describes a study in which cultured neurons were exposed to beta-amyloid in the presence of testosterone. The resulting toxicity from beta-amyloid was significantly reduced by testosterone.

Pregnenolone is another vitally important hormone within your body that plays a crucial role in brain and memory function. This is your “mother hormone” form which all the other sex hormones are made.

Pregnenolone is one of the major hormones in the brain. It is produced by certain brain cells, as well as being absorbed into the brain from the blood. It protects brain cells from injury caused by fatigue, and an adequate amount has a calming effect on the emotions, which is part of the reason that it protects us from the stress response that leads to an excessive production of cortisone.

Hormones should only be taken in their bio-identical form, meaning that they are the exact same hormones that your body makes, and not synthetic substitutes of the hormones. Bio-identical hormones will lead to healthy reactions in your body, whereas synthetic hormones may lead to symptomatic improvement in the short term, but in the long term will cause significant health problems to your body.
